Blogging: Take 2
Yip, this is Sarah’s second blog, folks. That’s #2. The first was a grand and exciting endeavor over at Life With Christ. #2, if you haven’t figured it out (I know we’re moving a little fast), is right here in front of your very eyes. This one, too, is grand and endlessly exhilarating. Admit it.
So, why did I move? I had 36 posts over at LWC, after all.
Well, thanks for asking. I’m getting to that. The answer is two-pronged: partly it was that LWC doesn’t offer an audio option for blogging, and I’m obsessed with all things auditory, and partly because I had left said blog un-tended for so long it was molding and becoming rather depressing in it’s out-dated irrelevance. What prompted my next move, I really don’t know. I was messing around with it a couple days ago and just decided on a whim that it was more trouble than it was worth. I deleted it.
And now, please join me in a moment of silence for the passing of a faithful and true friend. A youthful and engaging online journal who–because of one vicious, unfeeling click of the mouse button, never lived to realize its true potential … *sniff* … its boundless horizons as a full-fledged … *Sniffle* … as a blog. *sobbing* … Please. A moment of silence.
Thank you.
I have many good things planned for this blog. To understand them, you must first have a basic understanding of me, it’s author. You must know that I am a passionate–sometimes moody–female of 24 with many interests, a flare for dramatics and a short attention span. More than anything, I like to discuss God, the Bible, Politics, conservatism, truth in general, radical liberalism (lies in general, my family and friends, my church community, my daily life, the blind community, talk radio, Harry Potter, and completely random whatnots that come to mind. This blog, therefore, will likely be a unique composite of all of that. It will be … well … me, I hope. This was one thing I struggled with back at LWC. I often found myself posting stuff that, although polished and entertaining, wasn’t quite ringing true on the second read-through. I want this go ’round to get past that. It won’t be predictable, I can assure you of that.
So, stay tuned! It’s all coming up here on this wee-tiny bloggy mine! And PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS! I can’t wait to meet/hear from you and read your thoughts as well. DeeeeLIGHTful!
OOOOOOOH!! And I’m SOOOO pumped about this audio-blog thing! Even if it is free and low-budget with your phone as the mic and no mixing/bumper music stuff … There I go, daydreaming again. Well, some day …

I think you’re the only person who realizes that there is such a thing as audio blogger. Bowm chicka bowm bowm.
Yeah, that’s how it appears. However, it’s been around for a while. Try it out! And let Ian and Kayleigh know, too–they seem like the type.
Welcome to your new blog.
Thanks for pointing me here.
I didn’t even know you had a blog. Thanks for the link. I’ll check in from time to time.
